New Begininng...

Happy New Year everyone! I pray that your new year began on a good footing. I am encouraged to see how the good Lord will work in my life this year. He certainly was active last year all through 2010. From my perspective He may have been over-active! LOL! Not really. He was just very thorough, as He needed to be. In many ways I am still recovering from the pain and hurt, but He has promised that whatever He allows to touch me will bring about what is BEST for me. There is still much uncertainty but I find that is life whether or not you are moving through a trial.


Last year I had to give up my gym membership but I was able to join another gym Dec. 31st! January 1st (and this morning) found me meeting with my new trainer, and then beginning my workout. I am so excited to begin working out again. Especially since Sarah's (our daughter-in-law) sister is getting married around the end of May!


Other new things to look forward to is a new study I am beginning in Colossians and Philemon. I'm really excited about this because it has been quite some time since I've been involved with a ladies Bible study. I look forward to sharing gold nuggets which I gleen from studying God's word.


I have to laugh because my neice, Claire, over at Psalm 127, decided to update her blog, which also brought on my nephew Dan, over at Hotel California, updating his blog. Dan was the first to begin blogging all those years ago, and then I jumped on the bandwagon, followed a few days later by Claire! Claire and I struggled to learn how to post a pic, or how to link to other blogs etc. One of her early blogs mentioned "her intrepid Aunt Claire!" So, you see, I have a reputation to uphold with those youngsters! ;) Anyway, it is done now, for better for worse. LOL!
