Where has the time gone?

I cannot believe that it has been so long since I have posted anything on my blog!  Slowly, slowly my desire to blog is returning.  I just haven't felt like sharing anything for so long.  But as I slowly come out of my deep 'funk' I see God is still working in my life, and is not finished with me yet.  Praise Him!  So, we will see how this goes.  No promises.

Let's see what is new in my life.  Well, Pilot and Sarah are now much closer to home.  They have left FL and are now stationed in NM.  :)  Much easier to drive to NM than FL.  Pilot finished his "SIM" training (simulator) training on his new plane a few weeks ago.  He was up in Toronto for about 5 weeks.  The family has had a good laugh because Sarah has actually gone up in the plane for a ride, while Pilot still has not set foot in the actual plane.  ;)  They seem to be adjusting to their new area and new home just fine.  The 2 dogs, Bailey and Oqurrih, have settled in nicely and see to thoroughly enjoy the NM grass as compared to FL's sandy "grass."  LOL!

Pilot's new plane!

We have been getting ready for winter around our home.  I am so sad to see Fall coming to an end.  It won't be long till the snow is flying and the cold air has settled in.  Our mornings are pretty chilly now dipping into the freezing zone all too often.  We have our ski resorts looking to open in a couple of weeks.  That is hard to imagine seeing we still had a ton of snow up on our mountains even in July.

I've settled into a new church home finally.  After almost a year of searching I find myself starting over with a new family.  Pastor James is very convicted about imparting the conviction of "intentionally living your faith."  I so agree with that concept.  Living in such a way that others see something different in you, and in turn you have an opportunity to share Christ with them.

I guess that's all for now.  Hope ya'll come back and visit me soon.  :)
