John 14:21
"Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me" (John 14:21).
It struck me anew this morning how important it is for God's Word to be so strongly fixed in our minds that it becomes the dominant influence in our thoughts, our attitudes, and our actions. By bringing God's Word to bear on specific situations that arise in our lives we develop convictions. By knowing God's Word we thereby know God's will in a situation. It is through God's Word alone that our minds are reshaped and our values are renewed.

Amen, great post!
Hi! I am dropping by from Joe's Jottings. I'll be back! God bless!
Welcome Shelley! Glad you stopped by. Come as often as you like. :)
I'll pop in at your place!
Boy, did I ever need to be reminded of this today, thank you!
Blessings!!!
Great Post! Amen! I found you through my husband(Joe's Jottings)
I couldn't agree more!
I can't wait until my bible looks like that!
Pilot Mom,
Thank you for stopping by my blog...it is so funny how God works. A friend and I were just having the same discussion about diving into the word and holding it in our hearts...it is so true, and always a needed reminder! Thank you for that little jolt!
Also like the previous post as well!
I too came by way of Joe and I’m thankful for your inspirational post. My wife Corry told me she is already one of your readers and had much praise for your site as well. I’ll look forward to catching up here. ;-)
Is that your Bible pictured? I'm curious because some of mine look like that inside (shameful though it is to say, I also have used highlighter pen in them!)
God Bless.
You are so right! We need to read God's word, study God's word, lean on God's word, understand God's word and live God's word.
Thanks!
Jules...give it time and use and it will look like my quickly!
Pam, Bonnie, welcome! Drop in anytime.
Gayla, I'm not surprised! :)
Melissa, glad to have you drop in. Isn't it amazing how He works?! I'm glad He used it.
KC, glad to meet you. I've certainly been in to see your wife, Corry. Lovely lady you have there! Of course, I'm sure you already know that!
ukok, thanks for dropping in for a visit. Yes, it is my Bible and like you, I too have highlighted areas. I've used different inks for different years until I began repeating colors. :)
Joe, always a pleasure to hear from you. Thanks again for mentioning my site at your place!
