As usual everything always looks better in the morning! Praise the Lord for that! It is abundantly clear to both of us that Pilot Dad must get his rest/be rested. Otherwise, everything else is just compounded.
We both went to bed early...soon after 9 pm and slept wonderfully. God provided rain throughout the night which made our sleeping extra good! ;)
My heart is rejoicing today. Even though it is raining the Son is shining!
"Be anxious [pulled in different directions...it is a command in the original Greek!!] for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
My focal point is the Lord. I petition the Lord. My prayer is bathed in adoration and appreciation. Thank you, Lord Jesus!
"The LORD'S lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'Therefore I have hope in Him'" (Lamentations 3:22-24).

Yay Lord! Yay - Pilot Mom!
oh sweet claire... i'm so thankful that you & pdad (heh!) got a good rest and were renewed and refreshed the next day.
i'd say that plenty of rest must be essential for pdad's health! yours too, for that matter! ;D
i hope the docs have given something to help ease the mouth pain... i know there are numbing gels and such you can swish. i think what they gave me was xylacaine or something like that. it's basically lidocane in gel form, but BOY! did it help when all the tissue inside my mouth sloughed off! *whew*
praying for you both always!

Dear Pilot Mom,
praying is the greatest gift and strongest force ever. I thank the ones who have been prayibg, and I thank the mighty Lord who indeed answers. We are doing quite well, all of us left behind, far better than anyone dared to hope for.
You know it's always sad to loose someone close to you, and as for my father, he was a true christian hero, even though crippled and ill his latest years he became bigger and bigger in our minds because of the way he delt with his troubles and never lost his faith or hope in Christ.
He was a tremendous loss to us, but all your prayers have helped us through it in a way no one could imagine.
What an unbelieveable wonderful force we have in God. I'll embrace you and ours in my prayers, and by no power of my own, I just know it will work.
God bless you.
Hi Pilot Mom,
I just found your blog and I want to thank you for sharing your journey so honestly. Thanks. I look forward to reading more.
Come on in, Becky! Make yourself comfortable... :D
Felisol, praying is wonderful, isn't it? I don't know what I would do without it!!
I do know that I have walked in your shoes just a few short months ago and therefore, still freshly remember the feelings you are now experiencing...the joy, the sadness, the ache, the comfort found in His Word...anyway, from one sister in the Lord to another...I'm praying for you.
Yes the rain does have a soothing and healing effect. I believe the Lord planned it that way.
It seems that you are growing spiritually in this difficult time. I am praying for you and yours.
God Bless
Dear Pilot Mom,
thank you for your prayers,- and the nice comment on my garden terrace. You know, if I have been woring five days in my garden this year, that'll be all. The good God knows my needs, he now I need flowers to thrive. He therefore has let the bushes and climbing plants grow in on out terrace from east, south and west.
It should not be happening. Flowers tend to strech towards the sun. God's laws superseed even nature. Let that be a comfort and evidence to Pilot Dad.
Hugs from Felisol
