A Tough Minded Commencement Address....

Will anyone step up to the plate this year and tell it like it should be? Read what J. Gresham Machen had to say in 1929.

Wow! great words. I love what he had to say about the serious committment of christianity. seems like we make it too easy most times.

Claire, again great reading! I really liked it when Machen said, we should be Christians who "proclaim without fear or favor the gospel that is contained in the Word of God." Great words, thanks for sharing it.

"Read the Gospels. ... Do not study them this time. Just read them; just let the stupendous figure of Jesus stand before your eyes."

Wonderful! I hope many read this article. A view of Christ is the most important start of each day that one can have, and a life is built one day at a time.

I'm back!!!
I updated my blog tonight, so, you can read about my move there. It went very smooth, but I'm glad it's over as well!

It is SO simple, "read the gospels", and we make it so complicated! We need to go back to basics and the simple of Christianity instead of the Churchianity that we have created! It's simple; it's just Jesus.
