My Honey!! :D

My honey is home! I'm so glad. :D He is still pretty sore and won't be going to radiation today. He isn't able to stretch out far enough on the table for his treatment. So tomorrow he will go and try it.

We are waiting to hear from the home health nurse today so we can find out how to use it. It does look pretty simple so I don't think it's any big deal.

I have a cd playing old favorite hymns while I pick up and straighten up. The clutter is beginning to derail me and I can't have that!! After all, I just got it all cleaned up not too long ago!

Have a superb day, everyone! May you constantly be aware of His great blessings all around...even the smallest. Would you take a moment and thank Him for something that He brought your way today? Just a reminder...that "something" could be something which we think is a "negative" rather than a "positive." But when it comes from God, it is always a positive! So thank Him and give Him all praise, glory and honor today!! I know I am!!

I'm thankful for your good word. And I'm thankful for the fresh green pepper I'm eating for my snack at the job I love!

Is it a regular g-tube? If so, it's very easy to use. My 17yo son does it all himself. And it's working GREAT! He had a j-tube for a few years and it continually leaked, so that was a real pain. Finally got it replaced with the g-tube last month. He's gained 10+ pounds since! Yay!

Will be praying for strength and nourishment for Pilot Dad.

Yay, I'm glad it's in and that's done with. I can tell you that I'm thankful to be able to swallow without thinking about it--something I've always taken for granted before. We're still praying here.

The clutter is getting to me as well. I'm trying to declutter one small area a day (while both girls are napping and before someone can come clutter it back up again!). I am having mixed success. I'm ready to move so that decluttering becomes a priority!

Dear Pilot-mom,
We are so happy that everything is going so smoothly and that you are both happy in the Lord.
We have so mcuh to be thankful for, eh?
In my mind's eye Pilot-mom, I can almost see you dancing as you clear up the "clutter"!...Love Terry

What an encouragement you folks are! I found your blog on Gayla's site and came over here to read it. What an amazing story of what the Lord is doing in your lives and to see you all handle it so gracefully. Thank you for such a wonderful testimony. In trials in my life I have used this to remind me that the Lord is right here with me always, in every trial, He sees me though it. God bless you all, I will be praying for a quick recovery for your dear husband.

Next: He will keep me here in His love, and give me grace in this trial to behave as His child. Then: He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He intends me to learn, and working in me the grace He means to bestow. Last: In His good time He can bring me out again - how and when He knows. Say: I am here (1) by God's appointment (2) in His keeping (3) under His training (4) for His time." Andrew Murray

I hear peace in your writing. It is always surprising that we can have peace in the middle of storms. "peace that passes understanding".
Today I am thankful that the humidity is gone. We can breathe again.
Blessings to you today!
