Ahhh, MUCH Better....

I can honestly say that today was a MUCH better day! Granted it isn't over yet, but, He has sustained, uplifted, encouraged and s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d my time today so that I have accomplished a lot! The Lord is soooo Good. He is Faithful. He is mindful of all my weaknesses. Praise His Holy Name!

Now, I have to confess that our son has called a few times today and that, too, has caused me to sing like a canary. (Which is a feat unto itself since all I can do is make a joyful noise unto the Lord!)

I highly recommend taking a "time-out" with the Lord each and every day! It will do wonders for your attitude, what all you accomplish (and don't accomplish), and just your overall well being. Try it! Whew! I'm glad I did!

See, now all the people that prayed for you to feel better get to mark you right off their prayer list! Woo Hoo!

I have caught up with you and feel terrible that I wasn't there on my knees for this situation...I've been so self obsorbed...I feel lost and angry and hurt...and it is just frustrating. I am so glad that God is healing you Physically, Spiritually, and Mentally, and that He is stretching your time...He is truly the Jehovah Rapha and worthy of our praise. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers and James as well...that he will be home for Christmas...resting and relaxing...we all need that!

You are precious in HIS sight and in mine!

So glad that you are feeling much better.

Defintely agree that spending daily time with God does wonderful things for us.

So does calls from our kids that are far away.

How many days is it now till you see him??? :-)

Hugs Suz

I too have been having a great time with the Lord these days. Over the last couple of weeks I've been very sluggish, and not very alert during my morning devotions. But since the first week of Advent I've felt closer and closer, AND I don't think it has anything to do with it being Christmas time. Praise God for His faithfulness and grace.

Have you noticed that when giving God time each day becomes priority, He helps you be more productive with the rest of your time?

Where are y'all travelling to in TX? If your destination is anywhere near DFW, let me know.

Carol, we are headed to Corpus Christi but have a small layover at DFW and are meeting Gayla at the airport! Are you close to the airport? :)
