The Rosebud...

It is only a tiny rosebud
A flower of God's design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.
The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
Then, in my hands, they die.
If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
The flower of God's design,
Then how can I have the wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?
So, I'll trust in Him for leading
Each moment of my day.
I will look to Him for His guidance
Each step of the Pilgrim's way.
The pathway that lies before me
Only my Heavenly Father knows.
I'll trust him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.

That was beautiful! I think roses are one of God's most beautiful creations... I used to have a rose bush at my old house (sold it when hubby and I married) that would bloom 7 or 8 times a year, at such odd times... or so it seemed. There was always a bloom when I was down and needed a pick-me-up. I always saw it as God sending me roses ;) My Abba, my Daddy-God, was sending me roses...

Thank you, Cindy-Lou! What a wonderful way to look at your roses, as a gift from our Lord! Praise the Lord that He knows us so well, even to when we need our "pick-me-up!"

Thanks for dropping in and letting me know! Come again...often!
Blessings...
