Corn Chowder...

It is rainy and cold today. The perfect day for soup! This is what is on my dinner menu this evening!

Corn Chowder

2 lbs. sausage or hamburger
8 Cups of diced potatoes
1 tsp. marjoram
4 Cups of water
2 cans whole kernal corn
2 cans cream corn
2 Cups chopped onions
4 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 cans evaporated milk

Brown meat and drain. Add all other ingredients except corn. Simmer until potatoes are done. Add corn. Heat and serve. Add a loaf of crusty and bread and ENJOY!

Ummm, looks yummy! Although since my husband hates corn chowered (he thinks chowder should have clams and clams only)...

Can I come to your house for supper????

zOh yes, Jackie!!! We have to eat early today because of our Bible study this evening, so around about 5:00! :) And, bring your appetite!

Claire-
Looks delicious!!! I'm going to jot this recipe down and make it sometime soon, especially now that the weather is so much cooler. Good for a nice big bowl of chowder.:)
