Success for Rylee!!!!!

RyLee's surgery lasted approximately 11 hours, with 3 hours of preliminaries. The AVM (malformation) was the size of a tennis ball - the largest the doctor had ever removed. Her vitals stayed stable the entire time, and there were no complications. RyLee had a good night of rest last night, and her vision and hand coordination are good. She is doing remarkably well & is very alert. The portion of her skull that was removed will be put back on in a month or so, when the swelling goes down. More updates will be coming as she recovers. Thank you all for your prayers. The family is very appreciative & couldn't have done without them.

Claire, I have emailed Kenny and am waiting for a reply.

Had an email from Kenny. He is ok. He has decided to delete his blog as he was finding it difficult to maintain an interest in it. He has decided to be an observer for the time being.

The more readers the merrier. I always say. I hope to do the same here, if that's ok. Blessings - LJ P.S. Don't hold me recent entries against. I seem to be going through a bit of an intelligence block. :^)

Thanks everyone for praying! Tomorrow will be the big day to see if there is any permanent brain damage...keep on praying. Besides, she has a ton of physical therapy and occupational therapy that she is needing to do because of the stroke. And, trust me, from my own personal experience, it takes years to recover! :)
